Best Practice & guidelines

Web Ad Tag:

  1. After creating your campaign click on "Get" Ad Tag corresponding to your campaign

  2. If you are serving ad via 3rd party server like OAS or Appnexus or Google, paste the ad tag and replace:
    • ${CLICK_URL_ENC} with 3rd party click tracking macro
    • ${CACHEBUSTER} with unique integer value if needed e.g., 1094567

  3. Value of appId in ad tag should be Id of the website on which you wish to integrate the ad tag (Website Id is Id of the website as registered under apps on tapCLIQ)

In QA Banner combo ads / Survey ads:

Upload image banners that are pertinent to the Question and Answer options.

Option button texts:

For a chance of higher engagement specify proper answer options instead of just Yes / No wherever possible.

Adding third party click tracking to option buttons:

You can specify third party click tracking in option buttons by specifying - concatenated string of third party click track url followed by actual redirection url

NOTE:
If you are running tapCLIQ Ad tag via other ad server like Appnexus, Google, OAS etc then their targeting supersedes tapCLIQ targeting.

Refer Ad specs for creative dimensions, max upload file size and other guidelines.

In order to get maximum value out of tapCLIQ below mentioned practices should be followed:

  1. Integrate engagement units in each screen of your app / website.

  2. Capture important events (moments) in your app / website - could be page load, button click, product selection, checkout, level completion etc. (Click here to Setting up event triggers)

  3. Set up event (moment) triggers - with this you can send a contextual engagement of your choice in response to user action / event. (Click here to Setting up event triggers)

  4. Create and run various engagement campaigns targeting one or more users based on their preference / opinion, usage behavior, event occurrence, location etc. (Click here to create Question campaign)
